  1. Why Double flush nipple for new 300hp
           As you know the 300 as an extra "Cooler" that uses lake water to cool the Coolant.That changed the whole system layout... Lake Water still comes in from the pump then splits into the new cooler then the rest splits again to exhaust manifold and intercooler.

The outlet of the NEW cooler goes straight out to left fitting
The outlet of the exhaust manifold and intercooler goes back together and then out through the right side fitting.
Flushing through the left side only will flush the complete system, no need to use both side, this is why we kept the same procesure in the operator's guide and shop manual.

FLUSHING PROCEDURE

  • Connect a garden hose to LH flushing connector

          located at the rear of watercraft. Do not
          open the water tap yet.


  • Start the engine.




  • Immediately after starting the engine, open water
           tap
          The water pressure must be enough to allow water
           to come out by the RH flushing connector




























  • Let the water circulate through the exhaust system

           for approximately 1 minute.

  • Close water tap.
NOTICE The engine must not run more than
30 seconds without water supply. Stopping engine
might be necessary.

  • Remove the garden hose from the vehicle and
          reconnect it quickly on the RH flushing connector
  • .Open water tap again.
During the flushing operation on the RH side,make sure water pressure is high enough to
    allow water comes by the intercooler over flow fitting.
      • Let the water circulate through the exhaust system
                for approximately 1 minute.
      • 9 Close water tap.
      • 10. Remove the garden hose from the vehicle.
      • 11. Quickly rev the engine 3-5 times at ± 5000RPM.
      • 12. Stop engine
